My friends and I are planning a trip to Lake Tahoe this winter for snowboarding. I wonder if anyone knows the ski area is best. So, what is the best place to stay.

Squaw on the north coast is probably the best in general and on the south side is probably in the sky. However, there are many other great options, depending on whether you have a family, a novice, an expert, etc.
I'm more part of Kirkwood, which is outside the Tahoe Basin and stay in your house is big.

Well, it really depends on your level of snowboarding. For starters, there is a season of good family, ranch is not in full-called Donner Ski. Then, for intermediate surfers, sugar is probably very good. for Advanced defininatly Heavenly or Squaw Valley. Night skiing is @ Borealis. I'm not sure whether the field, since when I go to Tahoe, I'm staying @ the the ski lodge. A disadvantage is that it is usually not a continental breakfast included.
